Project description
A new office project in Gouda, Netherlands, for Fundis Huis in which almost every luminaire is SG. The building is a new head-office with a wooden structure, a lot of windows and many plants both inside and outside. The project followed SG’s prior cooperation with Fundis for their care center, De Zevenster, where SG was introduced to the project manager for the head-office. At that point, SG was completely unknown to all parties involved.
After a productive meeting and an intensive collaboration with the architect, SG was asked to create an alternative lighting plan and quotation. This was approved, and the order was received at the end of 2024. The building was officially opened and put into use in May 2025.
Lighting solution
SG was selected to provide almost all indoor and outdoor lighting for the building. Main products included 700 meters Shopline DALI, 520 x Tube Eco DALI with 50 degrees optics, 42 x Sektor Pro, 90 x Lineal pendant luminaires above the desks, and several other luminaries such as Metro Pro, Junistar Soft, Frame Round Maxi, Callisto, Disc 760, Wave, Hurdal and Sense IP65 ECO.
The result is that SG delivered a lighting solution tailored to the building’s wooden structure, glass areas and interior greenery, providing high visual comfort, energy efficiency and an elegant, airy look in both office and communal areas.
