The system also has two associated apps “SG Connect User” which is a pure user app and “SG Connect Commissioning” which is a programming app.
The apps can be found for free on both Google and Apple. It is easy to register with your email address and a six-digit code that is sent to this email address.
Internally, luminaires communicate via Zigbee, while the SG Connect Commissioning App and the SG Connect user App uses Bluetooth during setup.
The app for both installers and project owners
The SG Connect Commissioning app is the only tool needed for setting up lighting systems with SG Connect technology inside. With this user-friendly app it's easy to commission and configure all your SG Connect fixtures and devices.
The app for the end-user
The SG Connect User app provides light control for the end-user. The app allows the end-user to turn lights on and off, dim up or down, as well as set and activate scenes.
