Master and Follower
The Master function enables one device to control one or more other devices (When the Master device is activated, the Follower devices will perform the same action.
Dimming: The Follower devices are dimmed to the same level as the Master device.
On/Off: The Follower units are switched on to 100%.
The Master only sends a control signal to the Followers.
Follower units can still be controlled manually via app or by other automations.
Setting up Master and Followers
Open the SG Smart app
Select the correct location
Tap the gear in the top right corner
Select Device manager
Select the device that will act as Master
Tap on Master function
Select which devices should be Followers
Press OK ☑️ to save
Change or remove Followers
Go to Device manager
Select the Master device
Press Master function
Add or remove the desired Followers
Press OK ☑️ to save the changes
It is possible to see in the Master function overview whether a device is already set up with a Master, as well as which device is selected as Master.
