Project description
The owners of the Nian parking garage in Gävle City, CBRE Global Investors, wanted to renovate and replace the old lighting to increase light levels and safety as well as improve energy efficiency and reduce maintenance costs. Viktor Nyström, electrician at Sweco, was tasked with developing a new lighting solution.
Lighting solution
He chose SG's Area 66, a robust luminaire with outstanding lighting technology. Contractor WDN and project manager Peter Dahlöf are very satisfied with Area 66. This is partly because it was easy to install and partly because it provided energy savings of 65%. The new lighting created a brighter and safer environment in the parking garage.
