The Urmakaren garage in Karlskrona had poor lighting that consumed a lot of energy, which affected both the safety of visitors and operating costs. Fastighetsägaren Samfast AB therefore wanted to upgrade the lighting to create a safer and more energy-efficient garage. The garage has 450 spaces spread over four levels, and also has camera surveillance that requires good lighting to function optimally. The project included both the garage levels and the stairwells, with a focus on combining better lighting conditions, safety and energy-efficient operation.
Lighting solution
Samfast AB contacted Lampans Elinstallationer who, in collaboration with SG Armaturen, chose the Tysnes 66 Connect luminaire for the garage levels and Disc 290 Connect for the stairwells. A total of 205 Tysnes 66 and 30 Disc 290 were installed. All luminaires are controlled via the SG Connect smart system with motion detection, ambient light and daylight control, providing energy-efficient operation and easy programming via app. The luminaires are set to 70 percent output, but can be adjusted as needed.
