Project description

Gävle Fastigheter (Gävle Municipality’s property management company, which owns and manages municipal properties) decided to change the lighting in Gävle’s concert hall. The existing park luminaires in the car park and around the property were outdated and used a lot of energy. One of Gävle Fastigheter’s tasks is to actively pursue climate and environmental targets in its activities.

Lighting solution

The TST Group’s contractor was tasked with finding a modern, energy-efficient solution, and project manager Filip Jonsson chose to replace the existing park luminaires with Ray D, an outdoor luminaire which combines the benefits of LED technology with visual comfort and energy efficiency. This luminaire solution enabled Gävle Municipality to cut its energy consumption by 78%. In addition, the new solution is perceived as providing more light than the old one, which increases safety in the area.
