Lillebælt Academy, University of Applied Sciences, is the South Denmark Region’s biggest business academy and offers 32 higher education degree programmes aimed at private-sector careers.

Lillebælt Academy has purchased the old Wittenborg factory on Seebladsgade in Odense, where construction of the 20,000 m2 campus began in autumn 2014. The new campus was put into use by students and employees at the beginning of the 2016 summer semester.

More than 3,6000 students are now gathered in one common “City Campus” area centrally positioned between Odense Central Station and the waterfront. The central location in Odense creates the perfect conditions for a magnificent study environment to support the study programmes and their interface with the business community

Lighting solution

SG has supplied both outdoor and indoor lighting solutions.

Thirty Wax spotlights have been set up on eight-metre-high masts in the area around the main entrance and its approach route. Sixty-five CircLED Single luminaires light up the car park, while seventeen CircLED Single luminaires light the path connecting the campus to Odense Central Station and Odense waterfront.

Lillebælt Academy has also received a wide range of Riegens indoor luminaires. The following luminaires were used in the following rooms:

• Classrooms:  Blocks LED and DiLED III

• Study lounge: Concido Downspot

• Canteen: Rax 200

• Toilets: Rax 150 and Rax 200

• Bicycle-parking basement: Plash 44 LED

• Technical rooms: Plash 44 LED
