CBRE Global Investors, owners of the Nian multi-storey car park in Gävle City, wanted to renovate and replace the old lighting to boost light levels and safety, as well as to enhance energy efficiency and reduce maintenance costs. Viktor Nyström, electrical engineer at Sweco, was tasked with developing a new lighting solution.

Lighting solution

SG’s Area 66 was selected – a sturdy luminaire with superior light technology. The contractor WDN and project manager Peter Dahlöf are delighted with Area 66, first of all because it was easy to install, and secondly because it offered 65% energy savings. The new lighting successfully created a brighter, more secure car park environment.
