The west-Funen town of Aarup is situated roughly 23 kilometres west of Odense and 37 kilometres east of Middelfart.

The town’s new square – “Sanggaards Plads” – is situated on Bredgade where a sweeping refurbishment project has turned it into the town’s focal point for market days and various cultural events. The new square is illuminated by Wax floodlights from SG

Lighting solution

The square is lit by fifteen Wax luminaires (15 W, 4000 K), mounted on five columns.

The Wax floodlight is designed for a wide variety of applications. Its different light dispersion options – spotlight and floodlight – make Wax the perfect choice for illuminating a horizontal surface (squares, car parks and similar) or a vertical surface (facades, monuments, architectural details).

The Wax luminaires at Sanggaards Plads are spotlights with a 13⁰ light dispersion angle to create a narrow cone of light on the stage and other areas of the square
