Project description
For the owners of Bjørnholthallen, the cost of replacing defective light sources was very high. In addition, the luminaires were on from 6 a.m. to 11.30 p.m., which also meant very high energy costs. It was decided that they should find a new lighting solution that would reduce energy costs and maintenance expenses.
Lighting solution
The solution was Arena Sport from SG. Arena Sport is an energy-saving and cost-effective luminaire that, with its protective ball grille and minimal glare, is extremely suitable for sports halls. Arena Sport is easy to install. In Bjørnholthallen, Arena Sport is installed with a DALI control and sensor, which turns on the light in the hall when there is movement and turns it off again after 30 minutes without movement.
