Château de Gréoux-les-Bains

Project description

The project was to renovate the lighting in the Salle de Gardes museum at the old Knights Templar Castle in Gréoux-les-Bains and make it suitable for exhibitions. The previous lighting was to be replaced by indirect line luminaires with spots to highlight artists’ works.

Installation was limited by the fact that it had to use the existing mounting holes and luminaire lengths because the buildings are classified as cultural heritage.

Lighting solution

The solution was a custom-made line luminaire with recessed Tube Eco spots to illuminate the artworks. The suspension and length of the luminaire could not be varied, so everything had to be adapted to the museum.
