Project description
The new Metropole restaurant concept at Rotterdam Airport has been developed with a focus on a modern and welcoming atmosphere for travelers. The project was carried out in collaboration with Elsenga Installatietechniek, where SG Lighting supplied the lighting for the project. Based on the architect's design, the lighting plan was further developed into a concrete and feasible solution with a focus on atmosphere, functionality and overall experience. The result is a modern and inviting restaurant with consistent lighting adapted to both guests and staff.
Lighting solution
The project mainly consists of approximately 100 meters of Shopline track system with DALI control. In the tracks, 97 pcs. Tube Mini 3-phase 2700K that contribute to a pleasant atmosphere in the restaurant area. Rax Soft 200 in black has also been used in selected zones to create an overall expression. For the kitchen area, Sense Pro 595x595 4000K has been supplied, ensuring functional and efficient task lighting.
