Project description

Oslo Børs is Norway's leading marketplace for shares and securities, and the building from 1828 is a well-known landmark in the center of Oslo. In order to preserve the historical expression and at the same time create an atmospheric environment around the property,

SG Armaturen has delivered a new lighting solution. The project was carried out in collaboration with the Oslo Stock Exchange's technical department and installer Cabesa Elektro AS. Several rounds of trial lighting were carried out to ensure an optimal solution.

Lighting solution

SG Armaturens Wax, Kjevik bollard and Place were supplied for the project. Wax is installed with a 50-degree spread, and a specially developed foil provides an even light pattern on the facade. Wax Bollard was used along the facade and on masts where extra light was needed, Kjevik Bollard provides comprehensive and functional lighting in selected areas, while Place was used as park lighting, with the Frame Round variant to highlight the entrances to the stock exchange building.

The result is discreet and effective lighting that highlights the classic architecture of the Oslo Stock Exchange.
